The Guy In The Next Seat

Everybody has had a bad experience with the guy or gal who sits next to him on the plane or bus. Perhaps they talk a little too much. Maybe they snore a little too loudly when they are sleeping. Or it could be that it is some crying obnoxious kid with a flatulence problem.

You know what? Who cares? At least they did not stab you repeatedly and then cut off your head.

Yes a passenger on a Greyhound bus traveling through Canada met with a terrible fate while sleeping. The victim and the attacker who were not acquainted had only moments before shared a cigarette.

The attacker with a knife that Rambo would be proud of began stabbing the passenger next to him in the chest. When he was bored with that he decapitated the man.

Reportedly he took the head and walked to the front of the bus where he dropped it.

While some passengers fled it is revealed that two of them along with a driver struggled to keep the door closed so that the man could not exit the bus.

As I sit here attempting to imagine what the passengers were feeling I can not help but think that it was all at once, both horrifying and surreal. It would have had to take a few moments for what had occurred to sink in that it was real.

I suppose suggesting that it was a bad day for the passengers and especially the victim would be a gross understatement.

I think the next time some guy next to me wants my window seat I will just give it to him just in case.  I will give him my nuts too.  Peanuts that is.
