Blue Raspberry Jolly Ranchers
Not every day can be filled with drama and excitement unless of course you are Britney Spears. I am sure that if you are thinking rationally that this is not something you would even want. I get wore out just hearing about Britney's travails.Yet if you live in a state such as Indiana where
the sun has not shined since October you might start wanting a little
something more just to get your juices going.
Some may have even started whining about how blah and boring their life is.
For instance yesterday was not a big day for me. I believe that the highlight of the day was sampling blue raspberry Jolly
Ranchers for the first time. They possess a color that really is not particularly appetizing. In fact it looks as if they are
made out of windshield fluid. Their taste however could be described as "not bad" or perhaps even delightful.
Another one of my major concerns was the fact that I have never seen Old Yeller. Surely my life is lacking something due to this.
Everybody else has seen Old Yeller and shed the obligatory tears. Perhaps I need to look into this.
Boring, boring, boring. Just when I started to think about letting out that high pitch whine that my children have or had mastered at some point in their
lives I sat and thought for a moment.
Yesterday 45 people's lives were ended due to tornado's that ran amuck in the south. That is 45 families whose lives will never
be the same. Countless others lost their homes and the places where they earn their living.
For them their day was filled with excitement and drama. Not exactly the type of thing they were looking for though.
I think for now I will eat my blue raspberry Jolly Ranchers and head to Blockbuster to rent Old Yeller and leave the whining
for another day. Yesterday was in fact a good day after all.
The sun will certainly shine again, even for those that lost loved ones yesterday. For
today and tomorrow let us remember them.
